One of the world’s most recognized automobile brands is the German legacy known as Mercedes Benz. Also known as one of the only brands in the automotive industry that keeps a modern repertory that range from fast- powerful-extravagant rides to poplar-luxury sedans.Mercedes Benz is definitely a recognized pioneer of automotive concepts with a particular repertory that includes from luxury sedans to fast and fierce convertible stallions. The origins of this franchise date back to its creators, three of the great master minds of the automotive history. During the late 1800’s and the early 1900’s Gottlieb Daimler Benz with Wilhelm Maybach and Karl Benz all dreamed with introducing their advanced technological advances to the world of the automotive engineering. It was just a matter of time until these three men worked together to create the first automobiles powered by functional mechanical engines in the late 1880’s. After that they knew that the best idea was to initiate what would be known as one of the best automobile brands in the world which was given the name of Mercedes Benz. This company was founded in 1926 by the three men that had only dreamed of that moment. Neither of them realized the impact of their contribution to the automotive engineering industry of that time that also altered the development of the progress of the automobile throughout its history. Mercedes Benz is now known as the founding father of the origins of the modern automobile that still introduces more and more concepts to the development of the automobile today. This franchise can proudly admit their guiltiness towards producing only automobiles that combine high-performance with luxury that also posses extravagant but classy appearances.There was no doubt that Mercedes Benz had the right qualities to be part of the new Mansory project. Due to the initiative sense of exploration that Mercedes Benz presented in the field of the automotive engineering industry Mr.Kourosh Mansory made his mind to introduce the irrelevant ideal of the new Mansory line to Mercedes Benz. After some degree of consideration there was no doubt that Mercedes Benz would not also support the new Mansory legacy but they would carry their best automobile shaped to the standards of the Mansory ideal as one monument to their automotive legacy. The ambition of the project was reflected in the idea of improving an automobile that already stuck out from others, one that truly represented Mercedes Benz, an automobile known as the McLaren SLR. This was a great question that would soon obtain its own answer.The new changes made to the McLaren SLR came from developed ideas made by the engineers of the team in charge of producing the new Mansory line. All of these new concepts needed to fit Kourosh’s overall design. After months and months of planing one of the greatest automobiles that ever represented Mercedes Benz was born.The new Mansory McLaren SLR Renovatio was now a reality. Kourosh, along with his crew of designers, stated that the new Mansory McLaren was based on evolution more than revolution. The entire back and front body kit was given a makeover to a sharper and more defined appearance. The main component of the body kit was based on a light-weight material such as carbon that improved the aerodynamic status of the automobile. The side skirts unite the arches of the wheels to the smooth and consistent shape of both sides of the car. By doing this the car gains extra space for the enlarged and modified exhaust system. The rear apron was also modified by incorporating diffuser takes into it to define the sportiness of the automobile. The new wheels and tires were built to exact specifications of the engineers. The wheels in the front measure 9 x 20 and 11.5 x 20 on the back which not also improves to the fierce sporty look of the car but to the overall performance. The tires are 255/30 Dunlop SP Sport Maxx and 325/25 on the back which seemed to have improved the grip and stability of the automobile when approaching high speeds. The McLaren runs with a 5.5 litre V8 engine with an approximate of 626 horse power. This engine combined with the 5 gear automatic transmission system contributes to the high-level performance of the automobile at speeds above 180 mph. The engine can now produce 800Nm torque power to add power to the over all performance of the SLR. Thanks to the modifications made to the turbo-compressors and the intercooler of the engine the SLR Renovatio can now enjoy a maximum top speed of 340kmp and an acceleration from o to 100kmp 0.2 seconds faster than the actual McLaren model. This may not seem such a great accomplishment but it still affects and alters the performance of the automobile. Another challenge present in this automobile was to cerate a luxury interior, different from the other McLaren models, that would fit in the ideal of the Mansory line. The interior designers needed an extravagant usage of materials and colors in order to pro-create a similar but up-leveled interior. The entire inside of the car, including seats and steering wheel are wrapped in a smooth light-gray leather which was classified by expert craftsmen as the highest quality foreign leather in the market. Yet, the incorporation of carbon fiber in sections of the automobile just balances with the aluminum integrated to new locations inside and outside the automobile. The interior is a reflection of a soft-comfort environment well blended to the luxury surrounding. The exterior is a reflection of an extravagant, yet different and adequately flashy appearance. In order to achieve that exterior and interior appearance the designers blended an opaque golden tone with the brightness of a voluptuous dark orange tone as the theme color for the completion of one of the new Mansory masterpieces.The new McLaren SLR Mansory Renovatio should be considered as another accomplishment made not only by Mercedes Benz but also by Mansory franchise. This automobile reprsents months and months of hard work by the best automobile engineers in the automotive industry and an immense contribution by the best automobile interior designers that at the end completed this automobile. To me this automobile is a live representation of the modernity and extravagance of the automobiles fabricated today. Mercedes Benz knows that its three founders would be proud and, most important, satisfied by the new accomplishment of the new McLaren Renovatio. Both Mercedes Benz and the Mansory franchise are honored to have created such a magnificent machine, a true monument to the great expertise of both sides in the automotive engendering field.
